Last Days of the Dolphins, narrated by Dick Cavett. The first documentary film to reveal the killing of dolphins during tuna fishing operations. Produced in cooperation with Westinghouse Broadcasting Corporation, this 1975 film aired on all WBS stations and for three years nationally on Public Broadcasting Systems, and was the recipient of three Emmy Awards for Subject matter, editing, and scripting.

The Great Whales, hosted by Loretta Swit. A one-hour documentary film on the status of the world’s whales and the current whaling situation. A one-hour television documentary contrasting the manner in which two island nations treat pilot whales: New Zealand, where stranded pilot whales are rescued; and the Faroe Islands, where pilot whales are driven to shore and butchered alive. Premiered on the Ecology Channel in 1993 and German television in 1994.

Fully funded by Turner Broadcasting Systems, this film aired nationally on TBS in September of 1996 as the premiere of TBS’s new Wild!Life Adventures series.

The Free Willy Story: Keiko’s Journey Home, (1996) narrated by Rene Russo. A one-hour television special fully funded by The Discovery Channel, about the story of Keiko, the real-life killer whale of Free Willy fame, and the efforts to get him back to his family off the coast of Iceland. This film premiered on The Discovery Channel on October 28, 1996. Winner: 1996 Genesis Award, from Ark Trust.

Discusses history of Sea World and their involvement in captures of Icelandic killer whales; others subjects: Japan drive fisheries, trainer injuries, disruption of dolphin family units, more.
